Should Performance Evaluation be based on Individual Performance or Project Link Performance?

Dear All,

The performance evaluation should be individual based and not on project linked performance because if an efficient employee is putting his extra efforts and working hard and even though the project is making loss due to some reason than employee evaluation will directly be affected and he or she will not be justified and he/she will be loss.

If the company is EPC or mainly base on Projects, then it will be surely linked, in that case what company can get benefit of your good performance while project is delayed.

It should be individual based, many CEO's and bosses just want a successful project rather than evaluating their employees and promoting them according to their hardwork and enthusiasm. That's the main reason why individuals lose interest and just completet their working hours.
