Hello,

I searched for apps of that kind when I was planning my own routine. So, I would suggest the following apps:

  • Pepperplate; this app is free and available for iOS, Android and Windows phone.Allows users to build their shopping list, outlines steps to try new recipes, etc.Recipes can be imported in multiple ways (by URL, by manual entry, by index cards).Recipes can be shared to other users through this app.
  • Ziplist; free as well, available for iOS and Android devices and it has a web version as well.App allows us to enter meal plans on daily basis and then integrate into calendar, to get notifications when to cook and what to cook.It also generates shopping list from the daily schedule that we produce.
  • Paprika; priced at $5 per mobile device (OS X version is more expensive).it is very neat at oganising.Has an excellent recipe management features and menu planner.App allows you to rate recipes and generate shopping list based on what you have selected for the whole week. Paprika has amazing tutorial system for recipes; it alerts you while in kitchen, basically every time you need to get your hands on your meal.

I wanted to outline these three, based on the difference of price and availability, to make sure everyone finds a suitable one.

Regards
