I believe that as long as you respect the differences in culture and religion , it is easy to live in the Middle East. I have friends and family how do it and believe me they are very satisfied with their decision.

Hi

From my point of view yes, now English has become the second language in most Arabic countries, it may be easier as an English person to live in UAE or Qatar than Jordan or Syria for example due to language and culture barriers, however i believe you should be perfectly fine.

From the financial point of view it is easy (Good salary and no tax), but from the cultural point of view (personal freedom) it is very difficult.

That depends on:

- the number of the Arabs who speak English at an understood level around him.

- the "English" people's knowledge of our norms.

No it's not easy for a native person to live in the middle east cuz most people in the ME can't speak English or even understand what the other person is talking about so they will have a hard time trying to figure what the hell is going on
