What is the best social media platform to generate traffic?

I think the active social media participants almost has got a a/c in all the social media sites. I think really doesn't matter..feel so.  further agree with the Marwa's view based on the content, etc. Thanks.

Facebook stay the best Social Media for having the best visibility, so you can use this visibility for generate traffic with using some specifics techniques on the publications to push your audience to visit your website 

The ones with the highest engagement by statistics. By that I mean Facebook and Twitter. It also depends on your Social Media goals.

• Generally speaking, it will be Facebook because of its popularity.

 

• While when considering the types of content (Podcast, Product reviews, How-to, Videos..etc) and the target audience, Facebook might not be the best choice.

 

• For example;

- If the majority of your contents are Videos, then YouTube will be the best platform to generate more traffic.

- While, if the majority of the target audience are young adults, then tumblr might be the most useful one.

I think if we rank them by order 

1. Facebook
2. twitter
3. Google+
4. Pintrest 

They all generate traffic. 

It depends of the content, maybe the best is to do a campaign and track what is the most useful for you, and focus on it.

Pintrest is better than facebook at least for me

Facebook comes in first, twitter and youtube.

 

Honestly I think that they all work together; you post your uploaded video on youtube through your facebook and twitter account, while making your video you ask your viewer to like your page on facebook and follow you on twitter.

I think Facebook is the best one & its equivalent from google the google plus network.
