If you look at celebrities, they are often followed by paparazzi and they seem to have difficulty in maintaining privacy. For the popularity they enjoy, they have to give up some privacy by answering difficult questions about their private life since their target audience is curious to know.

 

The same can be said about politicians. The internet encourages self publishing and we become celebrities, politicians or journalists in our own small way. If you look at some of the popular bloggers or youtube communities, they thrive by exposing their life and also of others. With power comes responsibilities, so when we take we have to give. Transparency & humility are the virtuous of the virtual world but i agree with Duaa, we cannot reveal everything about our life.
