It really is, especially in our age. We need to notice how often politicians and people in power try to connect to their audiences through social media. Politicians can now come speak to us in our homes, through television, through magazines and they can be around with us always through our phones. They can be a part of our lives and through social media they can watch us they can discover our ages our names our interests all through social media.

The media is a hub of inter-connectivity and it's not just a one way street anymore we receive and we give infromation.

According to the General Political diagram, Media is one of the Political tools in addition to Diplomacy,Military tool and Economic Tool, so media is very connected to Politics where Politics is mainly based on Intercommunication between Governments and their Citizens.

Media is ultimate weapon of diplomacy.

Media is supposed to be interconnect with all the wings of the state like judiciary, executive and legislative, etc and not only with politics. so definitely politics will be interconnected with media. Thanks.

I think Media is the root to all evil, it can destroy or it can enhance peoples perspective. What is the most influential way to convince or deceive people is media. It does interconnect for sure, it creates a bigger opportunity for the politicians to reach a wider audience.  A tool of an omnipresent, politicians use social media more to gain their interest and benefits. Social media is a great platform for politicians or other people to gain audiences.

Based on the premise that politicians use the media to spearhead their campaigns then yes media and politics are connected. Ideally, the media has been used to topple governments and politicians alike. Lastly all media is what everyone uses to convey messages and ideas.
