Axapta is the best
I beleive NAV stands out for retailer GP is better option for advanced financial implementation and AX is the best of Dynamics for Manufacturing.
Axapta specially the latest version AX2012r3 is teh best among Microsoft3 products.
Dynamics GP is a solid product with strong and extensive functionality and is well suited to companies with requirements for financial reporting and light distribution. Great Plains is more suitable for retailers & Dealers.
Navision with LS retail is the best for retail industry and is saying this from my personal experience.
In GP there are some restriction on reporting and AX is suitable for manufacturing company whose offices are scattered geographically. AX is more complicated and has huge number of reports which most companies don't use. so why pay more for reports which you r not going to use. NAV is the best choice and you can customize reports to include what you require.
Navision LS Retail is the stable software and it is being used ......
Dynamics AX2012 Supports the retail feild, so you can have a back office system together with the retail one. you need to consult a partner and you have to attend demos to support your decision.
I will go with AXAPTA because AX is targeted for Tier1 businesses with high-end scalability and customizable.
Axapta is better than GP , I didnt work on Naision
from mywork history , i think Axapta as is more higher than the other2 , also its used for the very big operations as retailers , turst me Axapta is the better from the above three , but i have to be more honest with you , there is another one which is perfect for the retailer and being used in most of the Gulf companies (( Oracle )) is best of the best .
