What are the most interesting Apps for healthcare?

The Best and most interesting app I've used on my iphone is called "Prognosis". It is user interactive and is specialized to Health Care Proffessionals. Case after another, it just gets tougher and more challenging.

In my opinion, every healthcare industry required a proper Hospital Management Information System. The reasons behind my opinion is:

a) Proper information regarding patient GIS area / zone wise for business growth

b) Management Information System

c) Cash flow and Fund flow management

d) Stock Movement

e) Proper Utilization of Non-pharmaceutical materials

f) Controlling attrition rate

g) Performance analysis of Doctor, Nurse and Technicians

h) Proper incentive policy

i) Proper attendance system

j) Renewal of Statutory compliances (Licenses)

k) Service Tax / Tax deduction at source

l) Promotion level measurement

m) Insurance Claim settlement and recovery of funds

n) Maintaining NABL / NABH accreditation

o) Through proper E-Medical Record system Doctors can prepare their research papaer, presentation, and posters

p) proper bed allocation

q) Proper medication

r) Bed side procedure with time frame

We have to choose a good HMIS system provided its include all the above mentioned information inside the system.

First and foremost when asking a question, one should be very specific on the questions being asked. If you are reffering to the applications seen on phones and other gadgets, I would say, the most interesting and very useful applications are the medical dictionary, nursing diagnosis guide, and the drug handbook applications. In matters of being handy because everyone can download these application as long as you have the gadget.
