The Prolactine levels will vary over a24-hour period, rising during sleep and peaking in the morning. Ideally, a person's blood sample should usually be drawn shortly after waking, preferably after the person has been resting quietly for30 minutes, although a doctor may have his own reasons for doing them at other times.
