Hello, i will try to give you the best possible answer. :) First of all, the key for developing speaking skills is the communication. The more you communicate with others in English, the more skills you will get. There are many strategies for developing skills but they might depend on your language level. So, it's very useful to use strategy of minimal responses, meaning that you try to give short answers to questions. Then comes the use of simple sentences, phrases, greetings and then you start discussing about different topics and your skill level increases, but as I said the key is communication. You should talk a lot with someone who already has a great knowledge of English. The way the person pronunces the words may help you with your own speaking skills, and that person can also correct you and help you when you don't know how to say something. The other key for developing speaking skills is confidence. You should never be ashamed to talk or ashamed of your mistakes. And you will make mistakes, all people do, but try to talk and if you make mistakes then ask the person you are talking to, to correct you, or when you don't know how to say something, then try to explain it in another words and later on, check what was the right way of saying something. If you don't have someone that might help you with your speaking skills, then use some audio material for learning and listen carefully to the person speaking and then try to repeat what was said. You can also record yourself so that later on, you can hear what did you do right and where did you make mistakes. Language input is also important. That means that you should be exposed to the language and more exposed you are, the more, the language will become a part of you, and you will learn the right pronounciation. I would recommend watching English speaking movies, listening to music, watching documentaries and so on. This all will help you develop your skills. So, listening, repeating, speaking will give you good results. Communicate as much as you can, discuss, get feedback from others and practice a lot and you will have great results. I hope i helped. :)

Speaking is also a crucial part of the language learning process. One way to encourage such learners to begin to participate is to help them build up a stock of minimal responses that they can use in different types of exchanges.

We can help students develop speaking ability through interactive activities, by making them aware of the scripts for different situations so that they can predict what they will hear and what they will need to say in response.

We can also encourage students to use clarification phrases in class when misunderstanding occurs.
