For hydraulic calculation of chilled water system (closed loop), did we add the heights for friction losses?

Since its a closed system we don't require static head nor do we require residual head,the height is taken as a length but in case of booster pump or transfer pump we do require residual head as well as static head

since it as closed loop we don't have to add the Height for the pressure Drop
