Ulysses by James Joyce and Don Quixote by Cervantes. 'Don Quixote' may be called "novel of novels" and "Ulysses' is the mother of techniques and experimentation.

The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, and Anthem by Ayn Rand. That is to name a few.
