I asked to re-issue duplicate engine log book but manufacturer offered the build document & blank log book. Are the alternatives OK to the buyers?

As ex-owner is holding the engine log book and when the prospective buyers say the log book is a must for transaction, I am trying to get the problem solved.

The engine manufacturer are willing to provide with  the build document containing serialised listing at build and ADs & SBs at the time of manufacture. He also offers the blank log book.

Will build document & blank log book satisfy the buyers who want original engine log book?

Its so difficult to re build engine logbook , but starting with AD & SB list is a good start and review all the previous work pack history to get what maintenance been done  from it you can re build the logbook , you have to get the serliazied component list , also the life limited parts  , so a certified copies could be attached to the log book and hope for the best.

No, because the manufacture cannot give us the actual life time of the engine or flight hours and maintenance recorded on the engine which is not reported to the manufacturer
