Yes two different sized generators can be synchronized. Just need to comply requirements upon synchronization: same voltage, same frequency, same phase sequence. More advance synchronizing check protection devices are available with relay protection of more parameter checks interlocks. This devices made auto-synchronization possible & safe.  Need also to fixed governor or speed control of the larger generator to be able for the smaller generator to pick-up load.

Yes , two different sized generators can be synchronised, but the speed voltage, and phase sequence must be same,we provide an inter lock while the bigger size generator comes to trip in any reson, parallely the the second generator must be trip.Like that i operated one no of3.9 MW Gas turbine and0.95MW Steam turbine about10 years.

With best regards,

:

yes , because the conditions of synchronization are

1- the same voltage value

2- same frequency

3- same phase sequence

4- same phase angle

yes, it can be done with the frequencies, voltage and phase angle should be same.

Yes, Synchronization depends on phase angle, voltage and frequency.

Yes Defenitely. For that you need DSLC & MSLC Panel Or EGCP panel. In DSLC we take both TG's CT_PT input,BOTH TG;s common Speed/ Frequency Reference,Both TG's common Voltage & Load sharing Input. All connected Load Input to DSLC.in MSLC all Grid/ Switchyard CT_PR_Load_Breaker Reference.Common sheck_Synchronising Relay. Both TG's common Droop_Slip Setting.Common Load/Speed sharing.Close loop interlocking & protection & Relaying & proper co-ordination is also required. If we have all the thing then both TG can run smothly.

Two different sized generator can be sychronized because sychronyzation  depend on:

1. Line voltage

2. frequency

3. phase sequence and

4. phase angle of two generators not on size

yes, the synchronization of two different generators depend on

1- frequency

1-phase shift

3-terminal voltage

4-phase sequence

the two generators  must have the four  things for synchronization .

yes,Synchronization depends not depends on rated power

YES IF THEY HAVE SAME VOLTAGE AND SAME FREQUANCY

yes

condition for synchronization is same phase, same voltage, same phase sequence  and same frequency
