Being a Sales person, on which I need to concentrate more, quality or quantity?

When answering please keep in mind that, quantity is needed for target achievement whereas quality is needed for customer retention.

Both the skills should be equally balance.

An effective sales person, should be able to "READ" what the target market needs and make a business plan accordingly.

As a result of this, the appropriate combination/mix of qualitative and quantitiative factors for your products and services should be taken into account.

Experience shows that products which are not "top quality", can still be sold, as long as the cutomer is aware of their lifetime and the benefit(s) that he/she can obtain from these during this lifetime.
