I have Dell D630, when I turned it on, my laptop start up but the screen is dark. I can see the display by using flash light, what's the problem??

  you will loose the laptop nuts and test it with another same laptop

so that tou will know where the fault is from

Try to adjust lcd brightness by pressing Fn and F5 keys if still dark,it is a backligth problem, it is better to reinsert your lcd cable from the motherboard or to the lcd itself. If still dark after reinsertion, propably component problem better to send to technician.

again do your windows just yr windows is creating a problem for u more nothing

 

Hi, somethibg like this happened to me and still continue. So try this,1- turn on without DC plug in I mean turn on base on battery power after logo comes insert DC again.2- during turning on close the laptop wait for few seconds then open it, these all are for time the power led n hdd led lighting in power up

before u buy any parts try to check first what is the problem. open your laptop and check the output voltage supply for your ccfl or led. if there is voltage the problem is ur ccfl tube or led maybe busted

if u r getting this problem there is then there is more  chances that ur laptop FL is not working, and if ur laptop FL  is not working then u ll got this type of problem, and in this condition there is changes that ur screen cable or FL  cable may also damage.

 

It's the LCD screen module that's fried ( its a small rectactagular module) which can be found under the sceeen  when you open up the screen casing. You can replace it with a spare one or change it completely

Tell you what you need to do is press alt Ctrl delete for it to reboot. If that don't work check the hard drive and if the hard drive don't work you need a new one.

To make sure its not the driver boot from any live OS cd if it worked properly then you can get system fixed otherwise you have to replace the LCD as its back lights is damaged.

It seems like the back light has the problem. Replace those back light. Otherwise buy a new screen.
