The best way to exercise to develope your Glutes besides for squats? I would recommend a few of these exercises ;

1. Curtsy Lunges

2. Bear Plank Leg Lifts

3. Hydrants with Leg Extensions

4. Single Leg Dead Lifts

gluteal settings, pelvic bridging, hip abduction in sidelying

i think the best way to minimize the glutes is that to swing the one leg by holding the wall by hand and in this one leg will be on floor, apart from this skeeping is the best

I would agree to an extent with Kabanda, but I would use these movements at early to middle stage rehab. The Glute 'activation' should be dictated by what your patient/clients activities of daily living are. A rugby player could do high load multi directional lunges to allow glute activation in the kinetic chain, however an elderly person may use a TRX instead.

I would try a combination of standing, seated or lying leg abduction and hip extension movements which could be done with or without weights.
