How does a teacher help students who are struggling with reading and decoding?

should give him self-confidence and support psychologically

for student struggling to read target overall comprehension of language, teach vocabulary, teach thinking strategies, have students practice reciprocal teaching and directly teach comprehension skills. how ever those who struggle with decoding skills  they need to be taught systematic phonics, they should blend to read words.

He must re-teach them the letters of the alphabet well with writing and pronouncing each letter well 

Intensifies students' reading sessions and facilitates lessons

it can be imorove by giving the reading exercise from small task (paragraph) to lebth task strategicall

By giving the students more reading and decoding work to do and by giving examples.

Making them to understand and doing VIDEOGRAPHY LEARNING which makes them interest and learn by themself. This Videography learning will self motivate themselves to learn through mistakes.. It will create themself to make them free from struggle.

Challenges with reading must be dealt with on a one on one basis. The school must enact a programme in literacy and numeracy for the students who have challenges. This progrmme must be running for the entire academic year and timetabled in the school . The must be techers assigned to this programme and there must be some incentives for the students who are enrolled in the programme. Incentives such as field trips, games and sporting actitivites that have a bit of academic component to incorporate some literacty and numeracy.

Increase the explanation of the unreasonable subject of students and if it is possible to practice

again from basics onwords the students must go through and we have to give to students some which the students will show interest like story books, novels and games books

By giving them enough time and intensive training in reading, helping them spell letters and giving them enough confidence that they are able to succeed and achieve their goal
