Energy from earth. Normally it is heat energy to boil or heat up water for producing steam.

Geothermal energy [1] (Geothermal energy) is an alternative, clean and renewable source of energy, which is of natural origin magma stored in high heat energy in the ground. It is estimated that more than99% of the mass of the planet is a rock temperatures exceeding1000 ° C [2]. And the temperature rises up Tamguena underground at a rate of about7 to2 ° C per100 m in depth, that is, the rate of up to27 ° C at a depth of1 km or55 km at a depth of2 and so on. And taken advantage of this thermal energy is mainly to generate electricity, and requires the drilling of many pipes to depths of up to about5 km. In some cases, used for heating hot water when the temperature is close to the surface of the Earth, and is found at a depth of150 meters or sometimes in certain areas in the image of hot springs reach the surface of the earth.

This renewable energy, in theory, could be enough to cover the world's need of energy for a period of100,000 years to come, however, be converted into electrical energy is expensive process because of drilling to great depths and the need for many pipes for the extraction of hot water and abundant quantities, and despite the fact that basic energy ( the raw material) is free and is available in abundance but difficult to obtain.

Geothermal energy is energy derived from the heat of the earth. The earth’s centre is a distance of approximately4000 miles and is so hot that it is molten. Temperatures are understood to be at least5000 degrees centigrade.

ADVANTAGES OF GEOTHERMAL POWER

1. Geothermal energy is relatively environmentally friendly. Pollution in the form of fumes are not produced although usually drilling of the earths surface takes place. The surrounding environment is not harmed with the exception of the land required for the power plant and transport links.

2. Unlike wind power, geothermal power can be relied on as it provides constant power.

3. The use of conventional polluting fuels such as oil and coal can be reduced if geothermal and other alternative energy forms are used (reducing pollution).

4. Geothermal power can take different forms. For instance, it can be used to produce electricity or the hot water can be used directly to heat homes and businesses.

Geothermal energy is the heat from the Earth. It's clean and sustainable. Resources of geothermal energy range from the shallow ground to hot water and hot rock found a few miles beneath the Earth's surface, and down even deeper to the extremely high temperatures of molten rock called magma.

The thermal energy of underground water.Wells similar to oil and gas wells are drilled in specific area where large quantities of underground water are of a very high temperature and pressure. The water is pumped to the surface by its natural pressure difference between surface and water reservoir or by submersible pumps. At the surface the produced water goes through heat exchangers to extract its thermal energy to be used for steam production in the boilers of a  steam power plant to finally produce electricity. The wasted water is then injected back to the reservoir through an injection well to mantian the reservoir pressure and for environmental measures. The future technolgy is using geothermal energy to produce power in old oilfileds where their wells reached water cut production.

Geothermal energy is the steam escape from mountain. the steam was being  process to make it a superheated steam. The main purpose of this steam is to run the turbine , a generator connected to that turbine. Once the turbine start to run the generator  will produce energy. That is why it was called a geothermal energy.and the power plant itself called the geothermal power plant.

Geothermal Energy is kind of energy obtain under the earth ground , as you known when you move to the core of the earth surface, temperature increases as well as pressure also increases.  the Geothermal energy is the energy traped from the hot magma under the earth surface, by drilling holes and putting pipes which are pipes for supply water  to be incontact with hot magma to produce a steams of high temperature and pressure vapour and pipes as returner  for that produced steams for running of steam turbine inoder to produce electricity.
