We are doing zinc electroplating using zinc chloride,KCl and boric acid,Capacity of cell is 7500 L.Suggest the correct proportion of these chemicals.?

Hi,

Apologies for the delay. I have not logged in for some time.

 

To answer your question, it depends on weather you are rack plating or barrel plating.

 

For Rack Plating:

Zinc   to g/l

Chloride to g/l

Boric Acid tog/l

 

For Barrel Plating:

Zinc   to g/l

Chloride to g/l

Boric Acid to g/l

 

Try to maintain a5:1 ratio (Chloride:Zinc)
