What are the various duties besides teaching for a university professor?

Academic advising , examination control, marking, curriculum development, workshops and seminars development and research

to actually teach.In India Professors don't come on time only teaching gets to the scene much later.

I remember hating my college professors for the same.

So thankfully it gave me a reason to be the best of what I could be i.e a teacher & to be dedicated 

Apart from academic duties some Professors also have to perform certain duties in management as directed by their universities.

Facilitate research students, organize seminars, workshop that help students to complete the research projects.

Conducting exams, overseeing Theses
