You Must be prepared having

  1. Map and directions
  2. You must manage transportation for the interview, car or airplane and every thing is organized, in case of Skype interview, must be preparing PC and you have Skype ID and ready for the interview
  3. Name, title, and phone number of the person to ask for upon arrival, get also contact for alternative HR person in case of no show of the interviewer
  4. Pen,paper,tablet and smart phone
  5. Clean and updated copies of your resume and cover letter (enough for yourself plus each interviewer) 
  6. Five or more questions to ask your interviewers  
  7. Samples or portfolio of related work you’ve done in the past (if applicable or requested)
  8. Ask for Copy of the job description
  9. Anything else the employer has specifically asked you to bring!
  10. Cell phone, in case you are going to be late you have to inform the interviewer, in case you will not be able to come you must inform employer not less than1 hour (Note: Turn it OFF before you go into the interview
  11. Notes about people you've spoken to while scheduling the interview or during a phone screen
  12. List of three pre-screened references (though not usually needed in a first interview
  13. Food (something small but filling, like a protein bar, in case of an extended interview)
  14. Grooming tools (e.g., comb, breath mints, tissues, cough drops, lint
  15. roller, etc.
  16. Proof of your employment status and/or identity (usually not needed until later in the hiring process)

From my experience, I have some guidelines:

 

1. Speak yourself, be yourself.

2. Be honest, and NEVER lie!

3. When you do not know the answer, say "I do not know" simply, and do not try to answer a question that you do not know.

4. Always, always, always, FOCUS on your skills and sell yourself.
