At beginning no treatment just follow up each three months. Most of time it will be sorted spountaneously. If not we can consider the yellow laser.

Avoid precipitating factors like steroid use in any form, stress

Regular exercise is encouraged

Follow up in about 3 months

If decreased vision or worsening fluid on follow up, consider focal laser, PDT

Eplerenone or spironolactone could be of help and are worse trying in some cases

Best treatment is NO treatment... Just follow up for up to 6-12 months >> if no improvement , then , focal laser can be applied if the leaking point is not parafoveal.

Earlier treatment may be considered according to patient's needs

The latest terminology is CSCR - Central Serous Chorio Retinopathy.. Look for the cause.. If the patient is on any form of steroids, STOP using steroids.. Then, observe the patient on advice of adequate rest.. If not resolving, do a FFA & Look for a leak - if there is a leak do a focal laser to the leak..
