First identify which segment we are targeting, its not necessary that every product with good looks, pricing, packaging should get sold. Sometimes it all depends on promotion, customers will get linked to the image and its really hard to establish in their minds.

Identify the USP of the product and Work out the promotion scheme to establish it with regard to the demographics like area / age etc., to promote the product. Identify the influential person among the group and give them the confidence of our product / services they will become the brand ambassadors of the product.

Last but not the least Every customer looks in value for money for the product he buys. Create value for money with regard to pricing and customer satisfaction.

Nirma the biggest brand in India is the best example when it started it  started off with door to door with out compromising on quality of product and made its penetration so unique that it gave bigger giants like Hindustan Lever a nightmare for market share

The deal takes place in a strong team. That is, customers must be brought in a large number and the product must be presented for testing only. Without selling it and that makes the customer more enthusiastic to buy. And in turn will advertise for the shop. Bringing in new customers.

I am totally agreed with       Shabeer Ahmed SHAIK      It is very important to pursue consumers by giving them right value of their money . In Bangladesh some non-selling products are getting sold by direct marketing door to door using Mark-up Mark-down pricing method.

What I can understand from this question is that how can we sell an idea which has NO Commercial Value for the benefit the Society.

Helping the deprived sections of the society is the responsibility of all the privileged segments and individuals. We can sell this cause through following activities. In this regard you have to be very clear about the cause of your activity.

Create an online campaign website/blog. Gather the email addresses of your family, friends, co-workers, parishioners, team mates, etc. You can send them the link to your webpage and regular updates about your efforts. Use this avenue to raise awareness, invite people to your fundraising events, and even collect donations via credit cards online.

Ask for money. Write a letter explaining your cause, why you are involved, who is to be benefited, etc. It's a good idea to request a specific amount

Sell stuff. Buy or make items that you can sell to raise money.

Fundraise online with a fundraising website. There is a range of reputable sites which allow you to raise money online for your charity. Look for platforms that allow you to fundraise on Facebook.

Hold a small event. Write down the people you know nearby. Do you know any musicians or celebrities who would play a benefit show?

Have an auction. Silent auctions are the easiest to organize and often bring the greatest returns. Ask local retailers if they would like to donate goods or services. They get a nice tax write off, advertising and good PR. Have stuff for as many price ranges as you can find. Spa treatments, hotel weekends and gift certificates are big sellers.

Hold a50/50 raffle. Charge Small  Amount ticket to enter. The winner gets half the money collected.

Get sponsors. A good way to easily raise money for your chosen charity is to get a local shop to sponsor something, such as the leftover cakes in the bakery. You can then sell them the next day.

it depends on the price of the product mainly. if the price is well, need to concentrate in wealthy market , i the price of the product low then must focus on the middle level market, so on and so forth. so what i mean categorization of the product based on the price is the most significant aspect to sell the product. focus on the market and categories according . then a producer can sell anything in the market. late , Brand , advertisement will to half of the things.. etc.. it is as simple as that.

Search why this product is not appealing for customers, is it the price? the packaging? the lack of advertising? the bad selection of places where it's sold?...

What went wrong in the4 Ps and act on the origin of the failure.

Then we should build a marketing positioning for this product, find a feature or spec that we can invest on for the promotion and/or advertising campaign to boost the sales

Try to understand why the product is not selling from the staff, search for its best features and benefits and use it as a selling tool among the customers, relocate it near the cash points or bundle it with other other slow selling products. Last but not the least, reduce the price.
