Can communication skills be acquired? Or do they only come naturally?

Every body born with different natural gifts, BUT these natural gifts need to be improved through different mechanism of learning such as education, training, exercises, motivation, practical experiences.....

It is a natural trait of course. Good communicators are mostly extrovert. They think about others, reading their minds, their likes and their needs/ requirements. They are mostly multitasking. Whereas on the other hand, being too much focused on a task sometime poses a disadvantage for the brainy sort of people as they tend to loose their contact with people around them. And they are thus regarded as bad communicators. Communication can be acquired thru learning without being a substitute for a natural talent.

The skill is partially natural, depending on your personality. More communication skills can always be acquired if you have the drive or need for them.

Definitely it has natural basics, but communicating professionally needs a lot of effort and hard work in learning, practicing and communicate with professionals to be a professional communicator. So this lead us the main question "Can communication skills be acquired?" the answer is "yes".
