Yes,the development of the technologies increasing the chances for new jobs,if the technologies are positive for the human being.Negative technologies do not sustain for long run .

I do not agree, mostly because of the simplicity of the question.
The fast increase in the use of technology changes the way of working.
You could call this 'new jobs', but for99% of the people working in this field, only the components in the assembly line are changing.
I cannot call this 'new jobs'.
So I would call the effect of technology improvement at the best 'limited' for most people.
The other point of view is 'new jobs' in the sense of an increase in the number of employed people.
But regarding unemployment, the thriving factor is the world economy, and much less the improvement of technological solutions.
The latter has even often a negative effect.
Concluding, I don't see a direct correlation between 'new jobs' and the increase of the use of technological solutions.

There is strong arguements for both answers.
New technologies can help bring new developments in various industry sectors leading to the creation of new jobs but new technologies can also lead to improved output and efficiency by removing the human factor and employing intelligent systems thus decreasing manpower.

New technologoes address new issues, has got little to do with employment. There was a fear among developing countries with IT replacing jobs in the late80's and and early90's, now come back to the present and look around you. Humans adapt, so does what they do.

Yes, development of technology will create new job oppertunities.
While looking back to our past we can see the major changes occurred due to invention of electricity, diesel engine, computer and chips.
Innovative technological advacement has brought many criticism in the initial stage but later all such apprehensions have been proved to be futile and without understanding the positive impact which is going to make in the socio - economic conditions.
All technological innovations have their own boon and bane depending on how they are applied.
For example neuclear energy.
If it is used for peaseful purposes it can bring major changes in the day to day life of people.
But on the contrary it will be catastrophic.
Therefore techhnological development can increase the opportunities and change the lives.

Well it is debatable.
But one thing is sure with the advancement of technology less people get hired than fired.
If you look around how many job cuts are happening due to technology today compared to the past.

The dev of technology results in higher degree of automation leading to lesser job opportunities for the same amount of output needed. However,it also opens newer scopes of working spaces which creates newer jobs too.
"Computerization" was feared to decrease jobs but it proved otherwise.
