Project Management (PM)

The Certificate in Project Management will give you the theoretical background and practical knowledge and skills you need to succeed in your career and meet challenges in the industry. The PM program offers the following:

  • a unique opportunity to specialize; you can choose the general program or programming geared to one of three industry-specific areas
  • hands-on, practical programming through university-level courses that are governed by Ryerson University’s rigorous academic standards
  • registration with the Project Management Institute (PMI)® as an Education Provider since2001 (received the PMI Professional Development Provider of the Year Award - Academic Category in2007)
  • practitioner instructors that are either subject experts or currently working as project managers
  • highly motivated students;75% of students have university degrees and most have5-10 years of business experience, which can provide excellent networking opportunities

See Certificate and Course Information for program details.

Professional Development

You can receive an acknowledgement of professional achievement once you have successfully completed three courses as follows:

The three courses must be completed within three years of your registration in the first course. Once you have successfully completed the three courses, email  with your name, student number, and the three courses you have completed. The best way to go about it is search for the best institutes/universities that give class room training. Post that check for availability of online courses offered by them. At least you can fall back on an entity when required.
