Premiere is quicker comparing after effects.After effects require more time and after effects better.You can try other software like Davinci Resolve or Apple color
I think a specialised software like Davinci Resolve or SpeedGrade in this case would be better, even though I hadnt much experience with both. But from my experience in Premiere and After Effects, I'd say Premiere is definitely better for color correction.
speed Grade is best for color correction
it is also in premier or after effect but speed grade is only for color correction . so many software is in market devinciresolve is also a best solution for correction
