as my own experience in many years using the abode photoshop. i frequently use(favorite) the pen and anchor tool. using these tool your can create a shape, path shapes manipulate in using ctrl in a windows os, add color or effect and more. i choose pen and anchor tool because the functionality of it as a tool.
