I think you mean why is bundle conductors.........? The answer is that bundled conductors has equivalent radius-Geometric Mean Radius GMR- larger than the analogous single conductor which decreases the corona losses and decreases the overall resistance and hence increasing the current carrying capacity. Moreover It is much easier to install and manufacture set of small bundled conductors than one large conductors.
