How do you keep from getting bored with the routine engineering work?

the engineer always have a lot of things to do or to read or to study i don't think he has a time to feel bored

As long as you enjoy your work, you won't be bored. I always remember that "love your job but don't fall in love with company" . Thus, one would always have option to move on....however, riding the bull by thorn is always a fun...find something challenging and challenge your adoptibility and skills to complete the challenge. :-)

Well the best way to avoid getting bored is

 

1) Do what you like the best (you well not getting bored)

 

2) Else change your job or profile. (For sure enjoy this process)

 

I was in a single company with a same profile for9 yrs ( case1 ) ,

now I am at case2.

 

Engineering is so interesting when you give time to it.

Now life not have time to get bore..Its only lonliness..

No routine in engineering because no progress without no probleme so u have to open your brain to solve it and this wont become bored ....best wishes

Every proficient may be  bored from his work , but that it depend on his feeling , you can join the suitable position which you feel find yourself by ... you will not bored and the opposite it will make enjoy  

Change my style does not change my plans

from my opinion, someone should go out for evening run and body exercising after work or during off-duty in order to get rid of boredom, stress, workload pressure e.t.c. and to me this should apply to any work field not necessarily engineering.
