The acedamic qualifications of LOMA, and participation in CII, will enhance an employee (professional) to get an oppurtunity to view a given situation from Subject Matter Experts, by which the Professional will gain the insights. Such interaction shall enhance the professional to increase the apetitie of Knowledge.
CII and LOMA are definitely increasing the knowledge and helpful to the people who are working in the Insurance sector. However, these are theoretical guidelines only the practice will make them perfect.
They are just guideline but detail sucefful exam score are more importent and experince definately add to it
it depends on company direction in case if they need critical experience i would prefer case study + test
& if they are ok with whitecallers so CII &LOMA are enough
There is no doubt that there is a demand for the personnel who pass out Insurance qualifications but it is not necessary that people who passed out Insurance exams are knowledgable. In my opinion, more knowledge is gained by experience rather than qualifications.
It has its standing but in my opinion whenever we go for any insurance than we have to go through the contracts terms throughly along with Insurer fine terms in relation with probable claims.
I am not familiar with these terms, and am not interested at all in working in the insurance industry.
The Insurance certifications like CII will enhance our knowledge on various aspects of Insurances and make us more competitive to our professional career rather than simply processing the claims on daily basis.
