Job Hazard Identification is part of Job Hazard Analysis. During the identification process all kinds of hazards ( they are catagorized into3 types) are clearly identified in order to minimise the risk of an accident. After a well defined and clear Identification is done the Analysis of the findings commence. Analysis is done on the relationship between the worker and the working environment (tools, tasks etc). Plausible steps are then sought after to reduce/ eliminate the identified hazards. JHA is done for better working environment, reducing illness and injuries and thus increase productivity.
