First, a solid screening of the proposed project's every stage should ensure that more than90% of likely environmental, social and financial issues are dealt with. A detailed baseline study of the biodiversity, topography, habitat distributions, edaphic and abiotic conditions of the site and areas that a proposed project is to be sited combined with an active and sincere involvement of the people located in the areas where a proposed project is to be sited, including people who may be affected directly or indirectly by the proposed project or decision are to be integrated into Impact assessments. The above should be meticulously considered when developing an EMP, the financial issues can be integrated into the Assessment by a careful consideration of the options.
