To be a good customer service officer, which educational background should you have?

marketing, sales , languages , and some information about the product it have been related to your educational background ! (for exemple : mechanic for auto sales )

to be a real customer service i think there is no need to have any speical back ground all you need to do is to understand what the customer needs from you and you have to deal with the customer accordingly.
i think language is the main commmunication tool used for customer service if you know the language of the customer very well then you can deal with any kind of a customer you face.

If the customer services are not related to technical field then a simple graduate can excel in this field but to have mastery in the field. A CSR must learn the art of communication with ability to handle variety of customers in professional manner and his/her rating will go up, if he have confidence and have insight on business solutions. At the end you need to have a satisfied service and i must say "be a little more kinder than necessary'
