Some countries' employment rate has dropped. Where do you think globally we will be in 10 years time if this trend continues? Who will pay the bills?

On the news this morning (South Africa) it was reported that Zimbabwe's unemployment rate increased to94%. SA's unemployment rate is now at25.8%. Still cost of living soars and more people are living below the breadline here.

I'm neutral given that no matter how good of an economist an expert may be, their predictions are always flat on incorrect.
But the fact of the matter remains that a whole new economy is taking shape in the cyber space, and the opportunities there are endless - looking ahead.
I'm guessing that should the this niche be as free as it currently is, one can tell that future jobs could be internet based work.

I believed that IMF ( International monitory Fund ) support all countries with Alert regarding Inflation rate, employment rate...........etc , of course raise up Un-employment rate globally very critical, the more awarness countries towards such challenge(s) will do better than other(s) .....
the one who will pay the bills : Countries with low Govermental performance, will have negative feedback against their people,especially if we have double dip Recession.

In my opinion, after the global financial crisis, the fragile economies has been dropped, which affect the employment rate directly.
However, the Islamic financial firm proved their success and did not been affected as the other traditional financial firms affected.
So I think the economies which have higher portion of Islamic financial transaction are more likely will be survival in the future.

Hi,

I think globally we are going through a paradigm shift. As labour cost is still economic I think more jobs would come to Africa & Asia. We have to wait and see.
