This question relates to IAS7 Statement of cash flows .So; Net Cash Flows From Operating Activities500 Net Cash Flows From Investing Activities100 Net Cash Flows From Financing Activities200 Based On Above; Net Increase In Cash During the Period Is800 (+/-)Cash At The Start Of The Period400 So, Closing Cash Balance is1200

In that case, Cash and Cash Equivalents would become $800.

Since Net Cash Flows from all activities are Positive, add them in the opening cash balance to arrive at the ending cash balance.

 

So, Answer is USD1200.
