What if your manager (non IT background) asked you to share the administrator password with him?

cmon if he is a novice do say no to him

rather pass it on to him and than put the network down

he would never ask you anything else again

not even his own

I think that will be hard , it's not possible to give him the password especially he is non it , he may do problems to the system

A password should never be shared with a non-IT background manager as it is against the privacy policy of the company.

I think it not good idea to give Administrative password him, but make his user right as administrator, with user restriction.
