How to convert a simple sentence into complex form?

A simple sentence can be converted to a complex sentence by expanding a word or phrase into a subordinate clause.

Example :

Simple : He bought his uncle’s house.

Complex : He bought the house which belonged to his uncle.

I bought myself a new car in which I could stay at ease

:rather than

I have a car. My car is comfortable

Complex sentence: Well i hoping to own these new trendy trousers, and so I went to the mall and got myself a pair today.
