2. How do you handle a situation whereby you're meeting your sales target but not meeting to consumers demand? (They require5000, you deliver2000 and target is1500).
3. What about your competitors? You can't overcome their competition but your target is been met?
1. Perception not meeting is bad. Two explanations:1) objectives over evaluate or some criteria haven't been taking into account while setting them2) work is not well done because of personal reasons->unprofessional
2. You talk internally on how would it be possible to deliver5000 ASAP because you don't want to put your company in these kind of situation where you signed an agreement that you aren't able to respect. Because on a long term you will loose the trust of your customers (and also market shares)
3. Then it is good, if you can't beat your competitor, you can still manage better internally to have a better revenue/employee than them, better products and largest trust. One you will acquire this with time and respect of every contracts you will be able to leverage more funds to grow your company bigger and maybe one day be as good as your competitors and overcome them.
Not sure if yardstick is an irony or abstract but having to meet ones target require higher lenghts of customer cooperation in relation to contibution.
