There are a lot of SEO plugins in wordpress for SEO but the most famous and best SEO wordpress plugin is "WordPress SEO by Yoast " .
This is a killer plugin that gets updated with new features all the time.
It allows you to easily setup page Title/Description templates for any post-type, create XML sitemaps, verify your Google and Bing webmaster tools accounts, and edit your .htaccess directly.

Hello All, Ms.Aya, thanks for inviting me to answer the question, I'm not currently using WordPress for content management, but if im going to do, here are the most important things you need to take care about (manually or through a plugin):
1- URL structure and language :(when im using a content management system, I would like to be able, to determine: A- The language of URL's -UTF8-.
B- Keywords in URL's - naming my pages and files to my desired name - .
C- Make sure no duplicate content through URL parameters.

2- Full control over my content: Ability to define/edit keywords, meta tags, descriptions...etc.

3- Logging: I would like my CMS to log every thing possible, especially searches made.

4- Page Speed: i wont use a CMS not optimized for loading speed.

5- Usability: The theme and Template you choose.

6- Microdata, Snippets and Social Media Integration.

7- Optimized Internal Linking, with the ability to determine title/alt/URL/Keywords of every single internal link.

8- Automated Optimized Sitemaps.

9- Optimized Breadcrumbs.
1
0- Canonical URLS and the new Languages Alternate Tags.
1
1- RSS enhancement if RSS needed.
1
2- htaccess optimization if you're on a linux machine.
1
3- LIGHT QUERIES: Optimized database structure.
1
4- Errors tracking (Especially 404).
1
5- Mobile browsing support.
I can think of another more 15 important points if I continue! BUT the question is: should you wait for an answer from a professional here, and use the plugin he/she suggest? or you should write your question into search, compare all available SEO plugins, start testing and go for the one fits your needs? Good Luck.

Hi Aya, There are a lot of plugins for different reasons.
There's not a single plugin that does everything to get better SEO optimization in Wordpress.
I use different plugins for different purposes.
For Titles, Meta Data, Robots.txt, Open Graph Meta Data, Sitemaps and control of my what gets indexed and what not I use one plugin "Wordpress SEO by Yoast".
It is by far the best plugin I've used for SEO.
There are others as well but again it comes down to how you set it up and I love setting up Yoast's plugin for SEO.
Then for website speed, I use W3 Total Cache plugin.
It optimizes the site for best performance and loading.
There are others as well but this is a good one.
Images need to be optimized before they are uploaded to the site.
Take care of the file name, the size of image, title of image and alt tags.
You can install any keyword density checker plugin to check the density of the keywords you are optimizing on any one page.
WP Database Manager for database optimization and management.
Manually optimize permalink structure in your Wordpress settings for optimum results.
For each page and post optimize the slug (URL of the page/post) and remove Stop Words from it.
Make it short crisp and relevant.
Install Feedburner plugin from Google for RSS feeds and register your Wordpress site with feedburner.google.com to get a link for RSS feeds.
I use Digg Digg for social media sharing buttons on the site.
There are countless plugins but Digg Digg works for me.
Use Mailchimp for free email service and use their Wordpress plugin for Newsletter subscription on your Wordpress site.
Use Backup Buddy (paid plugin) for regular backups of your site.
There is a free plugin that helps you backup the site and it is called Duplicator.
I hope this helps you in finding relevant plugins based on your needs.
Again, SEO is not a straight forward thing.
You need to use a lot of plugins and setup them in a way that helps you optimize your website in best way possible.
If you need more help, just let me know.

Hi, Allinoneseo is the best plugin as far as my experience is concerned regarding the Words press website.
you used Yoast as well but i will go for "ALL IN ONE SEO".
One more advice for new users, please select the new plugins which are not rated otherwise you will be in problem.
Install only Highest Rated Plugins that will work for your website and help you to get attained your goals.
Thanks

There are many good plugins like All-In-One SEO, it's simple and active.

I have been using "WordPress SEO by Joost de Valk " recently and I am very satisfied with it.
However, I believe you need to know your main goals and the techniques you want to follow before searching for the appropriate plugin.
What I like about Joost plugin: - It enables you to edit Meta Description manually for each post - It enables you to add social description manually for each post - It enables you to add canonical URL - Generate XML sitemaps (personally am not using it, and using another plugin for this) - Includes a pretty easy clear measure for the quality of SEO for each post, it helped my editors team to understand SEO better and enhance their blog posts

I also agree that youast to best SEO plugin amongst all..

If your question is about premium or paid SEO pluins then “WordPress SEO by Yoast” is the best. You can visit it official site to download and pay. In order to know how to setup this plugin you can either refer wpbeginner.com as an informative website comprising all things about themes & plugins or see
