coz there is lot of difference between them ...
ae is compositing software processing very complicated design but pp is simplest ...
ae working with cameras - lights - effects ( very huge list ) and have unlimeted function

The more Effects more rendering time,,also I think the engine of AE is more powerful than PP so it need powerfull pc
