Remember the steps of scientific thinking ? , the six steps from primary school ? , Put those on your desk as a check list and make sure you follow each step in any phone call you do for work, I actually did this with my time and the results were astonishing , you never end up calling back for more details or missing information , just to remind you the steps are1 State a Problem ------------> why are you calling (before you pick up the phone)2 Gather Information ----------> ask about what serves your problem3 Form a Hypothesis ------------> explain how you understood the answer &4 Test the Hypothesis-------------> Ask a test question5 Draw a conclusion------------> conclude the result with your other party6 write the result------------> document and act
