Train Nice people for sure, but train people to be nice this is the challenge

Opinion: Train people to be nice is more easier rather than to train nice people.
Reason: Nice people always think that they perfect at all and harder for an employer to train.
Possibility to get argument was higher than training people to be nice.
As a human being, any person will do anything to achieve their goals.

'Train people to be nice - 'Training' is required to cover essential work-related skills, techniques and knowledge, and much of this section deals with taking a positive progressive approach to this sort of traditional 'training'.
Importantly however, the most effective way to develop people is quite different from conventional skills training, which let's face it many employees regard quite negatively.
They'll do it of course, but they won't enjoy it much because it's about work, not about themselves as people.
The most effective way to develop people is instead to enable learning and personal development, with all that this implies.

Of course! Training the nice people is much easier than trying to make someone nice.
Anyone can ask why not...
and How? The reason is simple, in first case you actually adding something on good, like seeding a fertile pillowed land, where in second case you basically trying to change the human nature (most of the people are not nice because of some negative attitudes they brought from their basic trainings, family backgrounds and their personal natures).
Everyone know this fact, that playing with human nature is a difficult task, and specially when it comes to changing it :).
If I again apply my example of seeding with the second point, then I would say its like trying to seed on a hard rock.
Some people here could think that I'm giving a negative approach that those people who are not nice cannot be trained...
No, I am not saying this, the point I am trying to raise is that we have to seed those plants here which are suitable and could match the characteristics of this land, which means We have to carefully choose the methods and means to make people nice.
I hope that I've clarified my point.

Training is Training and it doesn't rely on nice people or any other type; this is due the fact that 'nice' relies on your judgment and it's limited, in the same time if so they are nice in your judgment its not necessary that the training gain or outcome is going to be 'nice'! Training people to be nice is not your responsibility as an instructor or trainer as you must stay focused to what you have to deliver, unless it is a specific training course on "How to be a nice Person?" Therefore, it cannot be measured as easier or difficult.

The easier is training people to be nice.
The nice person will avoid and refuses most of the training tips, As he see that he don't need it.
But the other ones is seeking to be nice, So they will do all what they can do to be a nice ones.

the question is quite confusing because it goes down to two categories...like training nice people and train people to be nice.
with the first one, definitely it will be a lot easier to train nice people because they don't have attitude problem and for sure they know what they need to do with regards to the training that they will undertake.
plus, there is always respect between them since they do know who is the trainor and them as the trainee.
with the second one, there can't be a specific program to train people to be nice because being nice is a character that is from within.
if the person is not nice from the inside i don't think that there is a special program that can be made for this.
it depends on the person and it is not something that anyone can change.
change in everything depends on the person...it should start within himself.

Dear Mr.
Gleendo In humans you can only develop the (K.S.A.) Knowledge, Skills and Attitude.
1.Knowledge is the easiest in developing.
2.Skills are more challenging than knowledge.
3.The attitude you can only guide people for different methods of dealing with things but at the end it is an internal decision must be taken by the person himself 4.As a trainer preferably your mindset have to see (all people are NICE) but they are different with a huge Variety

First of all, how could you know that they are nice/kind people? Thou, to my understanding, it usually takes a long time to find out about people at your workplace or anywhere, unless you lived with them or you practised with them necessary exercises like training/sharing/etc.
Second, state to me one case, at any place, they trained people to be nice.
Even in restaurants.
Nevertheless, Kindness or being nice is a distemper which is soon cured by experience.
I regret to tell you that, usually, especially in europe and Canada, they train dogs to be nice to people.
As such, i consider your question is irrelevant.
regards,
