Would you choose a career in radio over TV?

Being a TV reporter always means you have spend more time finding good shots for your reports and end up losing precious time. But radio reporters in the Middle East aren't always recognized for their hard work. So which would you recommend for a career path?

Audio visual combination always has a greater impact than just audio.
In TV, you bring the entire experience to the drawing rooms of the people.
But in terms of Broadcast Journalism, Radio has been very popular because of its mass appeal; an ideal medium for 'mass communication' ( it existed long before TV).
In the Middle East and South Asia, the rural population mostly relies on Radio to keep up to date with the current happenings in the world.
However, I think globally the urban population prefers TV for news and since that is where the corporate world, the news-makers and the policy makers reside, there is a greater scope of recognition of your work.
I say it's a personal choice; Radio has its own flavor.
