On the contrary, with the increase of Smart Phone usages, people are directly linked to their emails through their smart phones.
The problem is that nowadays we receive a lot of redundant mails, so planning an email campaign requires a good content development because based on the subject and content, people will engage or not.

Business and work related communication are generally confidential in nature and thus cannot be put on public platforms like face book, linked in, etc.
Similarly sales automation is another example of confidentiality for every organisation which again cannot be put on any public platform.
