according to the experts:
Marketer : one that deals in a market; specifically : one that promotes or sells a product or service
Marketeer : a specialist in promoting or selling a product or service
Marketers used to be in charge of talking, of pushing the message to customers. Ads, flyers, mailing, billboards, trade shows, press releases are talking.
Marketeers are all about customer relationships not megaphone blast. They focus on connection and conversation.
Formerly it was the era of "Marketing" now it is "e-Marketing".
Let one more 'e' added to the markete(e)r !! :)
It is a variant spelling of marketer.
A person whose duties include the identification of the goods and services desired by a set of consumers, as well as the marketing of those goods and services on behalf of a company.
: a person or company that sells or promotes a product or service
: a person or company that is associated with a specified kind of market
So, you can see the difference. Second one is just a seller not a marketer.
Thank you for the wonderful answers.
Mr. Vinod & Mr. Wolf is correct.
There is a difference between 'Marketer' or 'Marketeer'
'Marketeer' compared to 'Marketer' is an specialized way of Marketing using tactics not only 'Create attention to sell' but also 'Listen'. They, live the real meaning for "Buyer's Market" & more focused in Long term.
They bring different pieces of imaginative product to actual economic product.
But, the use is done as an alternative to 'Marketer' & use as a 'Specialized Marketer' is few or hardly though being the more rationalized word it has Negative Meanings too attached to it.
For Example: Noun of 'Black Market' is also 'Black Marketeer'.
:-)
Simply we can say that MARKETEER is a specialized marketer.
While marketer is target oriented, Marketeer is experience oriented.
