i think construction projects are more prone to risk

It projects are more risk prone than construction projects. incurred damage recovery is easier in construction projects than failed IT projects. Also to improvise any failed IT project more funding will be required, while the other can be transferred conditionally.

Thank you

Well it "actually" depends on your definition of risk :) !!!

Not sure about this one ... since I have seen more problems with construction projects than IT related projects.... off course if the programming is off and the same problem recourse than I have to agree with all the people which said IT...., but I never have seen any project fail in neither field

Maybe the IT Projects fail more but the risks in construction are bigger, you are working with so many people, materials and it all has to fit together in1 Project, within specs, within time, within budget

IT Projects are more prone to risk of failure than construction projects. Rate of change of technology in IT and complexity due to technical issues make them prone.

IT projects specifically the Information Security system projects due to inherent risks.

As per me IT related projects are more risk prone than construction projects. Damage recovery is easier in construction projects than failed IT projects. Lot of funding is also required to recontruct the repair in IT projects.
