What is the appropriate team work to fix an issue?

Your team got an issue you have to fix urgently. You are sure in100% you know the right solution. Meanwhile the others in the team have different opinion they are sure in it too. But you know they are wrong! What you are doing?

I am100% sure? That would be brazen of me to be that confident.
I am100% sure that “red” means stop, “green” means go, and the sun rises in the east and a few other absolutes left from right, up from down.
To make a team a “TEAM” they must have ownership in the process of decision-making or why have a team, just do it yourself and be done with it.
The grander scheme, you are trying to mentor staff/team members on how to build and reach consensus, develop problem-solving skills and how to play nicely with each other.
Urgency being the overriding factor here it appears that the manager/supervisor whoever built the team;1) Did not emphases on the urgency of the problem,2) Did not put the team together soon enough to give them the time needed,3) Left the team unattended and/or again gave poor instructions.
Ultimately, you the manager are responsible for the outcome, good or bad right or wrong.
I would interject myself into the team; I would listen to their conclusions, offer some possible alternatives and give a resolve immediately.
Hopefully the proposed solution was correct/acceptable to those up the food chain.
Afterwards I would call the team together and review what may have gone wrong, including my own possible errors.
Then I would expect them to critic themselves without pointing fingers at anyone.
It was a TEAM failure

The team leader should step in and let me prove my arguments of the solution and let my team mate proves his.
At the end of the day, team leader has to decide which solution she wants to use to fix the issue.
As a team leader, I would chose the solution that is the best fix for the solution.
After all, as a leader I have to step up and take decisions and own the consequences for better or worse.

first, everyone has to negotiate a solution, despite it might not be100% correct , so after that you request a small POC to be implemented on a small scale , during actual work people tend to change opinion spread in the meeting room

 

Please note that I assumed you have done everything possible to convince others like analysis, facts, escelations..etc

Do not fight it.

The picture you are drawing might easily and quickly lead to an argument of a punch of people trying to win an argument, and the essence will be lost.  

 

This will take time, but you first need to seem in agreement with each one, get the team to have an open discussion and challenge every idea, if you are as sure as the "Satan and Adam’s Apple", then leave your idea to the last.

I always believe that " two heads are better than one". Even if your is perfect solution still you need to consult them since they are involve in.

CALL for a meeting considering time and weight of the issue.

AS A LEADER

NEVER ignore a teams idea to solve the issue

Note down and summarize the ideas including your inputs

Clearly Assign the task accordingly basing on their capabilities and LEVEL OF LAZINESS:O★★★

Welcome clarifications and very particular with how, what and when to communicate

Keep track and follow through as agreed. Support, if necessary.

Appreciate with a dimple smiling THANK YOU or a casual "how are you" conversations.

As a team;

Be involved and NEVER fail to suggest your little ideas

Listen attentively and respect others opinion.

Be proactive on assign task and clarify unclear instructions

Constantly communicate for updates and setbacks, even if you fail to do right thing

LEARN from that issue.

There must be a team leader he has to come up with a decision after hearing everyone's solution. The sprit of team is communication and contribution , discuss all possibilities and together come up with the right solution.
