What are the preliminary actions to perform when Management Point (MP) is not working in an SCCM 2012 R2 console?

check the mpcontrol.log and also try to access the MP using Web Browser from client or any other systems

Check for SMS_MP_CONTROL_MANAGER  mpcontrol.log for any error.

Check IIS and make sure that  virtual directory named SMS_MP is there

Check MPControl.log for error. Status 200 Ok means MP is working fine.

Browse SMS_MP virtual directory

1.Will check the SMS_MP_CONTROL_MANAGER  status from the console and look for the error message.

2. Will check the below log files from server side

Mpcontrol.log

Mpfdm.log
